Corn, soybeans and wheat are the major grains shipped from the Port of Toledo’s three riverfront grain terminals.
Our grain terminals are operated by The Andersons and ADM, Inc. The Andersons also operate the Cargill facilities in Toledo.
These four terminals have a 22-million bushel storage capacity. Specifically this includes: The Andersons with seven million bushel capacity; ADM with nine million bushel capacity; and Andersons-E with six million bushel capacity; and Kuhlman with seven million. The total grain storage capacity in the Toledo area, including back-up, is more than 55 million bushels.
Our riverfront terminals are well connected – served by ships, rail and truck.
Kraft Foods receives wheat by vessel, rail and truck to support operations at their Toledo Flower Mill.
Hansen Mueller's oat & barley processing facility controls cleaning, bagging, grinding, processing, bulk grain handling and storage facility by vessel, rail and truck.
Agri Products Handling: Handle full range of Agricultural products Total Capacity all together is 22 million bushels Grain Terminals have max loading speed of 60,000 bushels.
